REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR 2011-2013
Dear Prospective Bidder:
This is a Notice of Availability of Funds for Fiscal Year 2011/2013 through the Ryan White Care Act, State 656 and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds. Funding is available for HIV/AIDS related care, support, prevention, education, and housing services for persons living with HIV/AIDS and for those at-risk of HIV/AIDS infection.
The Jewish Healthcare Foundation and the AIDS Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania require the submission of a Letter of Intent and its accompanying documents by mail no later than November 2, 2010 at 12:00 PM. Please see below for required Letter of Intent format. Only applicants with an approved Letter of Intent will be permitted to submit a proposal.
Those applicants invited to do so, will be asked to submit proposals in hard copy with an electronic budget template by January 20, 2011 at 12:00 PM. An official 2011/2013 RFP is currently available for download at http://www.jhf.org/programs/hiv-aids.aspx or by clicking the “RFP” button at www.swpapc.org.
Services are to be provided between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2013 in the eleven-county region of Southwestern Pennsylvania including the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health and the City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning will provide funding for subgrants, which will be administered by the Jewish Healthcare Foundation. The Foundation will provide direction and support to successful bidders.
A listserv is available to address applicants’ questions until January 13, 2011, a week prior to the proposal due date. All inquires must be made through the listserv only. To access the listserv please send an email to rfp@jhf.org.
